In fact, any comparison of vaccine passports to the Holocaust should be considered a hate crime, punishable by required listening to first hand accounts of the Holocaust read by the person with the most annoying voice in the world (thinking Gilbert Gottfried). Kind of like a reverse Reading Rainbow for dummies.

I think calling it a vaccination "passport" is part of the problem. It brings up negative yet irrelevant imagery. They should just call it a vaccination record. We already use them in many situations, like for going to schools, certain industries and occupations require them, some foreign countries require them before entry.
Providing proof of vaccination to have access to certain privileges isn't a new concept. The word "passport" just makes it sound more aggressive than it needs to be.
