Schedule changes just make us a proper league.
Fairly common in other countries for cup conflicts, matches selected for TV, etc. Norwich once even moved their derby fixture vs. Ipswich to an earlier kickoff to limit pre-match drinking at the advice of local police.
But I know exactly what you're saying - this season is very compressed with many mid-week matches already, and late November is a real gamble in most Canadian cities, except for Victoria.
