I agree with you, but I also understand people's....anger is probably the best way to put it.
Nothing to do with Archibald in particular.
But a lot of people have sacrificed a significant amount, we see the state of our medical system and there are a lot of people who are harbouring a lot of resentment not only for their own imposed restrictions but also because there are many perfectly able-bodied individuals declining the vaccine.
Considering what some people have gone through over the past couple years and now there are people who seem ideologically aligned with Archibald or people like him while sacrifices have been made and some people have been denied their own medical treatments because of it.
I dont agree with leading with anger and righteousness either, but I can kind of understand where thats coming from.
I've been to a couple of COVID funerals. I've had medical care denied to me at certain points during lockdowns. I still consider myself eminently fortunate in most regards through the Pandemic, but I've also seen and known a lot of people significantly less fortunate than me.
And then there are people protesting in front of Hospitals....
There is a lot of anger out there. And its going to take a long time for that to dissipate.
Archibald just seems caught in the crossfire of that accumulated anger. He might be something of a focal point.
Its just a bad state of affairs right now.
