So yesterday evening, I turned off at the Zoo to the Nose Creek Pathway and there was a section of the pavement that has been cut out completely, just huge pebbles and dirt left and two 1 or 2 inch 90 degree curbs on either end where it has been cut.
I went through it at 20kph and bam! both wheels buckled instantly and I ended up with two pinch flats. I need to get the rims inspected as well for damage. I couldn't deal with it and I walked the bike up to the Zoo C-Train to get home.
Seriously thinking tubeless again. Any idea what a tubeless setup can cost for a shop to set up? Can you still get these kinds of buckle/pinches with tubeless?
