Win now mandate and Covid chaos would have made it tough for any GM. I do think getting Zadorov and Gudbrandson was not the best spend of assets and cap seeing as the Flames have a D-core that is going to struggle with speed and offense unless Valimaki, Kylingon, or Mackey suddenly really step this year and Andersson rebounds.
