I've never been clear on the definition of "puck moving defenceman". Tanev moves the puck out of his own end very efficiently. He's got a good first pass. Obviously he's not going to skate it very much. But as for that, Hanifin is probably a better skater than Brodie, even in the latter's prime.
But on this team, with Sutter, I think a guy like Brodie would not be in as good a position as any of Hanifin, Gio, Tanev or even Andersson or Zadorov.
