How could you possibly know that though? The guy had some of the equipment staff at his wedding.
These negotiations don’t happen overnight. Landeskog wasn’t signed until the day before free agency despite wanting to stay in Colorado.
Of course his agent is going to use whatever leverage he can (including time) to get the best deal possible for his client. He’s paid a ton of money to do exactly that.
The fact he isn’t signed yet says nothing about his intentions or desires.
