You're talking about a handful of results of moderate success in the entire NHL via this method in the last 25-30 seasons. The Flames have proven time and time again that they rarely get in and go on a run, and more often than not get taken to the woodshed or fail to qualify altogether.
This is more loser rhetoric from a GM with a pattern of putting a losing product on the ice. This guys is cooked and best to be put out to pasture before he costs the franchise more years of untenable mediocrity.
