I don't think food speed was a major issue for Giordano last year. He wasn't as quick as he was at his peak, but he was still, at least an average skater. He also kept the team pace up by still making quick, effective decisions on-and-off the puck.
Is Zadorov a better skater than 38 year old giordano? Maybe, although I'm unsure. I've not read him described as an above average skater, either way.
Is Zadorov a quicker decision-maker? Uhm...
