Here's an odd thought - instead of opting entirely out of one, why not incentivize the other?
"Yes, we still accept cash (exact change only, please), but pay with your new Flames CC or with the Flames wallet app and earn points/chances to win!! (or use the app to buy 9 hot dogs, get a free popcorn)"
I have 2 concerns (and am not sure how founded/valid they are)
1 - I am concerned about the security of my money on an app. Identity theft, hackers, hidden fees. I carry my cards in one of those "scan proof" cases.
2- I am not so sure about the push towards a touch-less / sterile society.
Mud is good. Soon we may not be immune to even the most common bug. The world has dirt and grime in it. We can't live in a bubble.
