I can't vote because I'm not sure if I consider myself a Calgarian or not. I've almost been here 3 years with no plans to move anytime soon, although health issues could force me to.
Other than getting older and wiser, and making a lot more money, not much else has changed for me since I moved here. Had I met a girl somewhere along the line or bought a place before it was unreasonable I may be more inclined to say, "I'm a Calgarian" because I would know I would be here for the foreseable future. But because I still lack any form of commitment, I can't say I'm a Calgarian when I don't even know if I can stay here, even though I'd like to.
I'm hoping in another 4 or 5 years I will have no problem saying that I am a Calgarian but right now it's not fair to put myself in a group of people who truely are.
