Parsons finished the playoffs with a record of : 14 games played 7w 6l 2.69 av 9.22svs

Parsons wasn't exactly a world beater at all, and if I remember correctly no one was claiming that he was carrying the knights. That team was still super deep and was projected to have a long run. Albeit a solid performance, when considering teams and overall depth Wolf's stats are far better than Parsons.

London captain, J.J. Piccinich has seen Parsons play over 100 games and he is convinced he hasn’t quite seen the Calgary Flames’ prospect at the level he was on Thursday night.

“I think it is safe to say, as well as he always plays, I have never seen him play as well as that. I don’t think I’ve ever played with any goalie who has played like that.”

The longest-serving member of the Knights, Owen MacDonald echoed the statement.

“(Parsons) stood on his head for 17 games straight last year, but I don’t think I can remember a performance quite like we saw tonight.”

Tyler Parsons, regardless of who wins in Erie, Pa., on Tuesday, has set the bar for money goaltending.

The London Knights’ 2-1 overtime win against the Erie Otters on Easter Sunday, for those of you scoring at home, was the eighth time in as many tries that Parsons has got the almighty W in a do-or-die game. The Calgary Flames prospect handled 44-of-45 shots, keeping the Knights alive until Mitchell Stephens (TB) scored in overtime. All told, the Knights have been outshot 226-138 through six games. Parsons has stopped 116 of 119 shots during London’s three victories.
Finished 3rd in save percentage for the 2017 playoffs.
