A guy friend and I went into the first one with a group of college aged girl. We laughed at the terrible dialogue and forced romance because we came in with no prior fandom or knowledge of the source material. The one other guy in the theater on the opposite side of us echoed our reactions after likely suppressing his own at first in order to keep his balls intact. Meanwhile we were getting some serious stink eye from whole rows of women for our reactions. And the swooning..was something else, given how creepy Pattinson's character came off. One of the more strange and amusing theater experiences. Some of the girls in the group were avid fans and ####ing hated us. That same guy friend and I went for a follow up viewing of the second one if I recall, strictly to troll, and he brought and wore a shirt that said "I heart boys who sparkle". We were dickheads, but we enjoyed it.
