Good hockey jersey, absolutely not. Good, one-off vintage inspired Winter Classic jersey, yes.
What we have been accustomed to accept as a good hockey jersey (clean look, classic simple logo on the front, simple uncomplicated striping patterns, basic color palette) are not the same lens to judge one-off special event jerseys.
For the record I loved the Flames 2011 Heritage Classic uniforms, but would never accept them playing any other games with that same look.
