IIRC, I don't think season ticket holders have had an off season update. Like it or not, there is a consumer confidence issue with this management group. Yeah, imagine it gets tiring hearing all the complaining but to your credit, you've given an outlet for fans to express our collective frustration. All is not well with the Flames and hasn't been for some time. This is the first season where we weren't pushed up against the cap and there was finally some acknowledgement that change was required. And we get Gio out and Coleman in.
If something substantial gets done between now and puck drop, great. He's delivered the change required. If nothing else apart from some fringe depth moves/PTOs, all he's done is put lipstick on the pig.

I was hoping for more substantive change but if not the approach seems to be:
- Give Sutter a full season with the group
- Give him more players that align to his style of hockey
Could succeed or fail but there's some degree of rationality to that approach. Particularly if the market simply isn't there for the players they want to move.
And I do think they are in on Eichel and see that as a unique opportunity, and therefore potentially held back other moves to keep that on the table.
