Yes they have benefited from playing with each other...they would have been short handed had the other player not been out there.
My frustration comes when people act like Monahan is barely an NHLer...everyone's favorite Sam Bennett did jack #### playing with Gaudreau, same with a countless cast of others. Its pretty silly to discount his entire career because he plays with another good player. What top scorer doesn't? I would argue both Gaudreau and Monahan have actually suffered not having a quality RWer to play with.
My Prediction is Monahan has 60+ points...here or elsewhere
