Can a player on LTIR be traded mid season?
I almost wonder if Buffalo is going to try and time the Eichel recovery so that he is ready for the first game of the playoffs. That way they can sell him to a contender at or right before the deadline. It would be an effective use of the Kucherov/Kane loophole. I wonder if that would drive the price up, or have a contender pony up everything Buffalo wants.
