I've said it before, but this is a weird season.
If you'd told me at the outset that the Jays would win 86 games or so, I would have said that was about right.
But after watching them put up a +115 run differential so far, and having seen them blow so many close games, the fact that they are on pace to finish 86-76 is pretty much a bitter disappointment.
This should be a .590 win% or 95 win ball club with just a little bit more luck with bullpen injuries and a manager that isn't a complete moron.
Feels like they wasted an entire season, especially since our best starting pitcher and best position player are FA's this off season.
Ray and Semien are a combined 11.7 WAR. Going to be hard to replace that in the off season for the same cost.
