That was my suspicion regarding the conflict too. I also doubt it was leadership turning their back on Tkachuk for his antics, but more of a "Kid, keep being you but pick your spots better" type of thing. There’s no way anyone would hold a grudge over something like that for a whole season. Per above I think it’s solely media speculation.
