Holland was part of a machine that Jimmy Devalano started, including Bryan Murray and Scotty Bowman. It’s easy to see that he wasn’t the brains behind the operation he was made out to be. He’s good at maintaining a bubble team that barely makes the playoffs & does nothing.
Once Jim Nill left the organization things really went pear shaped for the Wings & Nill made Dallas a team that at least went to the Finals. The Benn contract isn’t great, but at least he accomplished something to make it worth while, unlike Nurse.
