The net effect for personal usage however, is that you should choose the box that allows you to have an approach that gives you a reasonable chance to have a reasonable score (and play at a reasonable pace). In other words, reflective of your skill level.

Yeah, and we’ve probably all been stuck behind “that group” playing from the back because one guy crushes the ball and his buddies won’t play from a more forward tee.
