Yes, I definitely don’t have enough knowledge to accuse the team of anything. I’m not trying to point fingers here. It is just a part of hockey I don’t necessarily agree with. I’m sure the team determined that the risk of further injury is negligible/non-existent. I’m sure that the team also thought they were better with him, which in my mind speaks of the depth in the organization and the need to claw their way into a playoff spot. It’s a different argument.

I think that the body is a pretty complex machine, and playing through injuries causes it to put more stress on other joints/muscles/tendons so it can perform in the least painful/damaging way possible. An extreme example is when the Warrior’s staff cleared KD to play. We all saw how that worked out, despite some of the top experts thinking he was okay to play.
