I weigh draft pedigree and height less than Kerins being a 30-goal scorer in his draft year and how he was just invited to Team Canada's WJC summer camp. His even-strength production in his draft year was crazy impressive, on par with guys who went in the first round.

Are we really penalizing him for playing four games last year? That's four more games than the vast majority of OHLers played and he only got them because the Flames' brass liked him enough to let him hang around the AHL team all year.
