Been on a bit of a documentary kick lately. Two that stood out were, The Dissident and The Assassins. Both kind of similar subject matter, state sponsored murders of perceived threats.

The Dissident is all about the state sponsored murder of Jamal Khashoggi. Really incredible look into the final moments of Jamal's life, the sadistic nature of his murder, using Pegasus spyware on dissidents and Jeff Bezos, and the incredible lengths that Crown Prince MBS goes to silence dissidents. Also a Canadian connection as one of Jamal's activist friends lives in Montreal. I would recommend.

The Assassins was all about the two women who murdered Kim Jong Un's half brother Kim Jong-Nam. I knew about the murder but this exposed a lot of details I had no idea about, I don't want to give too much away but it's definitely worth a watch.
