Getting Eichel I don't think was ever about this season. Knowing a full recovery is going to take a year to get back to full 110 percent game ready shape. I'm not saying he can't play in this season but just the total arc of recovery is going to take longer as I think he will be operating at maybe 80-85 percent of total game readiness when he play this season.

Eichels a long term commitment. So if the Flames are going to acquire him I think it's with 22/23 and onward in mind.
