Calgary needed to protect the 3 they did, everyone understood that.
Chicago wasn’t protecting any Hanafin type players.
Plus Gio was picked, Zadorov was bypassed for a nothing type player. Seattle presumably passed as they didn’t want to pay him what it would take.
