With the Flames this week announcing the re-signings of a couple of their players, I'm thinking they're more or less out of the running and will look to the plan b options. I don't think the signing announcements were a coincidence. Buffalo must have a deal they're comfortable to go back on if they're holding on this long, and I thought the d-day was a month ago. Sounds like they're trying to squeeze out more, but I'm sure they have a deal with probably Anaheim to go through with if there aren't any others on the table. Frankly I can't even picture Eichel with a Duck jersey. Just seems odd.
