And I don’t mean antiques (although those can be cool too)..
For context, today I bought a garbage can to replace the one in our kitchen (which still works fine but was showing it’s age cosmetically). We bought it when we first got married... over 18 years ago
Still have some old bath towels and other household items (plates, cutlery) from that time as well.
I also have some beloved t-shirts in the rotation that I got back in 2008. Heck, I used to have a favourite collared shirt that I originally got in high school (circa late 90’s) that I only retired last year.
So what do you have that’s still (i) something that works well, or (ii) in use because you can’t seem to give it up? Am I destined to have these things for another 20 years?
