Just wanted to highlight the bolded part, which gets criminally underrated as a factor in contracts.
I really don't love the player but excited to be proved wrong. And not the kind of player to have the kind of results that would yield a huge contract after this anyway. Some people consider Tanev one of the best defensemen in the league and he's not making a whole lot more.
