I see the "want to do something special with the arena" a few times in the readings today.

Spitballing here but maybe Glendale think they can get some sort of residency acts ala Las Vegas, or multiple concert series where 5 or 6 acts play two or three times a week for 2 months each and draw tourists into the entertainment area.and hotels.

Or, for example, bring decent concerts in to coincide with the 9 NFL home games, again, getting tourists who are coming to watch the football game, have a good concert the Saturday night before.
