People are getting all kinds of long-term illnesses and health problems after contracting Covid.
My friend's father is 65, he was the outdoors guy, hiking, hunting, always out and about. Today he's walking with an oxygen tank, struggles to have the energy to get out to his car, he's aged dramatically when I saw a recent picture of him, he now looks like he's in his 80s.
But yeah, worry about the death rate, and ignore the millions who will have long-term serious health problems because of Covid, SMRT.

These people don't care about the death rate . They are bad faith actors. They only care about death rate blah blah blah because anything else " oppressisives " them. I can't do this like before so I'm oppressed. I can't not wear my mask to get gas and fatty treats. That's oppressive.. #### you!!! You don't know what oppressive is . You spoiled little babies... you can go to a store with out a mask so you think your oppressed? You don't know #### except how to whine . You know how my grand mother knew it was time to move to Canada? Literal Nazis kicked in their door down, killed 6 family members as they were busting in as the rest of the family that survived scrambled out the back door. That's actual oppression. Being asked to be vaccinated and wear masks is not oppression it just sound medical advice to keep us all INCLUDING you safe. It's not a conspiracy. The government doesn't want to only Kill the "sheeple. They are the only part of the population that listens to them so why woul they want them to take a " dangerous vaccine " juat to be left with the pain in the qss population that doesn't listen to them at all?
These people have no inkling of compassion for any one else but them selves ..restrictions and heath orders, vaccines etc are just a tiny bit of an inconvenience to them so they throw ####ing fits like toddlers. I don't actually believe the majority of people anti Vax care about the anti Vax positions concerns . I think the majority of them are just the type of people to be #######s and rebel just cause the majority are 8 favour of it. I know the type I was that type growing up ( with reasonable extant) . I also just think it is fueled by uneducated masses as well. But I digress.
We have a group of the same type of people always down at the inner Harbour park here in Nanaimo daily "protesting from 7am to 10pm. Complains covid is a conspiracy and blames it on no jobs yet had been here since I moved in February. 7 days a week. Maybe it's not a conspiracy and your just always protesting a " conspiracy " and not looking for a job. Also why are you made at restrictions? You've been sitting in the same spot for 6 + months! How does it really affect you?
Anyways the main point I was trying to make before the tangent was these people spouting " Freedumb!" Are just selfish . They are not going it with others in mind . They are just scared little cowards that can't see past there own bubbles. To be fair that's human nature we are selfish #######s. The only reason that Humams have gotten this far is because there is a majority of our contingency that realises the good of other benifiets me. That's a natural survival instinct. That's how we domesticated the dog as an example...
I've gotten to the point where we need to seperate the wheat from the chaff. I'm a tolerant man but times are a trying . A good culling from the selfish might not be so bad.
Also to put it back on topic . You wanna see a hockey game get vaccinated . It's a privilege not a right . It's a luxury , not a birth right. If you don't want a vaccine get cable or do what I do 1000 kms plus away subscribe to NHL.tv .. beers, whiskey and food are cheaper. The seats are more comfortable. The viewing angles are always great. And as a bonus I can start the game 1 hour latter and skip the intermission and commercials.
