I can't ever envision a NASCAR driver being good enough to compete in F1. Even if they had billions...it's just so much more difficult and different than what they're used too. Jimmy Johnson, 7x NASCAR champ, is getting schooled in Indy and he's with Chip Ganassi. Larson is a phenom, but I think it would still take him years to catch up TBH.
And to Speede5's point about not leaving a good thing. Just look at Scott Dixon, dude is a 6x Indy Champ, likely IRL GOAT, and has never considered F1. He's on a dominant team and is still top 3 after 18 years and at 41.
