I'm fully vaccinated. I have zero reservations about hanging out with vaccinated people, or in situations where I know 98%+ of people are vaccinated.
Sure, the Delta is a bit of a curveball, but protection is still a lot better than being unvaccinated across the board (to an extreme degree in terms of severe outcomes). Is it just making you nervous?

Delta might be more than a bit of a curveball. And I have little confidence it’s the only or most lethal variant we’ll see. Vaccination is way better than no vaccination but it seems obvious that effectiveness wanes over time. And not the same for each vaccine. I’ve been vaccinated for six months and I felt like you for much of that time. Not so much anymore. The announcements of boosters after 8 months was a bit of a surprise and a harbinger I’m afraid.
