It's sort of tough to assess Treliving's work, because he's done a lot of good in his time as GM, but the overall team results are pretty poor. I'm not happy with the results of the rebuild, at all. One playoff round win early on during his tenure just doesn't cut it for me. If the plan had been working, we'd at least maybe have seen a couple times past the first round and building towards being a contender around this point, instead the team was almost in complete disarray last season. The coach selections until Sutter were terrible IMO, and the instability behind the bench is all on Treliving. But I think drafting has been decent overall and he's great at contracts. Despite the lack of success, I think there's some good pieces on the team and with Sutter behind the bench for a full season they could bounce back strong. But if this season doesn't go well, really that's got to be it for him. The results have to be there at some point.
