Born, raised, married, and now raising my family here. 32 years. My wife was born and raised in Edmonton; I 'rescued' her from there just about 5 years ago.
It is one of my goals to move out of Calgary though. I would like to buy a farm, within close proximity to Calgary. Maybe 30-50 minute commute at the most. From the ages of 12 to 26, I spent each and every summer working on my Uncle's farm and I found out that I like living outside of the city more than living in it. But, I like the amenties the city offers such as an NHL team, mega malls, mega plex cimemas, etc, etc.
My extended family of Aunts and Uncles all stem from that same farm, which is about 45 minutes outside of Calgary.
