The problem with picking up Parayko in a trade is what do you do with Anderson? You’re not paying him $4.5m to play on the third pairing. This is why hockey trades are so hard to make these days.

The other problem is Parayko only has one year left on his current deal, and then he's a 29 year old UFA Dman who will be getting either a massive extension that won't be a bargain, or he'll be gone down the road.
