I’ve been a follower of this forum forever. I’m out. The lack of understanding as to what is at stake here is appalling. To think, so called grown men would cower in fear unless others ingest an experimental vaccine, disgusting. Manage your own health, respect the choices people make for their own medical care. If you can’t handle that, YOU stay home. If you choose to take this vaccine, good for you, I’ll respect your decision, I would ask the same for you to respect mine. I have many reasons as to why I manage my health as I do, none of them are your concern.
One last note. When it becomes mandatory to take whatever the government mandates in order to participate in society that will never go away. You may agree with people being forced to take this vaccine, what about the next or the one after that? Be careful what you wish for.

This forum is pretty good at accepting well researched evidence and changing its position based on said evidence. As opposed to just calling people brainwashed could you show the evidence that you are using to make your decision?
Right now you are choosing to get Covid.
This means you are choosing the known risk of death and short term complications of Covid and the unknown long term complications of Covid
Over
The known short term risks of a vaccine and unknown (but a lot of evidence suggesting it’s non existent) long term risks of a vaccine.
So given the above trade off can you walk me through the math of the risks you assign to each unknown and known variable that lead you to the decision not to get vaccinated.
Then once that exercise is complete apply the same logic to other medical interventions you are willing to use and determine if you are internally consistent.
I found the above excise useful in determining whether or not to take Astrazenica or wait for pfizer. The calculation in those cases was close because there wasn’t a 100% chance of you getting Covid so there were age / case rate cominations where waiting for Pfizer/Moderna made sense.
Run through the math, cite your sources for each factor, and make a decision. Fear of the unknown and fear of being at fault is likely making you overstate the vaccine risk and understate the Covid risk so putting the math and assumptions on paper will help.
