I suggest people here go back and think about all the privacy laws that were passed... somehow someones medical history is OK when asking about this virus and their vaccination status (and having it in a passport is still asking and showing it). Now.... Can I ask you if you got your erectile dysfunction prescription filed, or when is you menstrual period, or if you're taking your schizophrenia medication too... because we are on a slippery slope here - and before you say that nonsensical, two years ago asking someone for a vaccination passport would be considered nonsensical, and if someone is off their schizophrenia medication, the could be dangerous - where do you draw the line.
What about people who can't take the vaccination under doctors orders. And if the vaccination works.... why do I (or you) care if someone has been vaccinated as long as I (you) have been - you can't have it all ways.... either the vaccines work and you shouldn't care, or they don't. The problem is the efficacy of the vaccines have been widely overstated and now we're just coming to that realization - and no matter if you believe it or not (I simply don't care) - facts are facts and you can't change that. Why are they talking about a third booster now?
The problem is that these COVID vaccinations don't work like other vaccines worked historically. Historically, vaccines were the shells of viruses or weakened viruses that were injected and created the same immune response in the host (you) that the virus did, but were weakened, so your immune system could beat it with little discomfort and you were now immune. The mRNA vaccines are new... a new technology that has largely failed in every trial before this one. The mRNA takes over your own cells functions where it's injected and has those cells produce proteins identical to the ones on the COVID19 virus (the spike proteins in this case - the proteins that create the little spikes on the outside of the virus), your bodies immune system then creates antigens to fight this fake virus infection. It's these spike proteins that create the blood clotting seen in recently vaccinated or COVID effected people.
The problems: If you happen to have COVID at the time of you vaccination - your body now has double (and by double I mean the two added together) the spike proteins, the ones created by the virus and the others created at the vaccination site or areas it's spread to (which was not suppose to happen - but does)... this can be an issue especially in younger people with highly active immune systems (I thankfully didn't have this issue).... then, add the second shot to that... I hope you get the point.
My point: Vaccine's are a choice.... since I've been vaccinated, why would I care about someone else if I believe they work, I'm immune. News flash: COVID is here to stay like the flu or common cold... we better get use to it, and most people are going to catch it now or in the future, you can't STOP IT no more then you can't stop getting the cold or flu, you may not want it, I know I don't, but there will be too many strains for the vaccines to catch. COVID has also been around for years - there are flu's (and colds) that are caused by COVID virus already - SARS was a COVID virus.
