I'm not going to wade into the debate of vaccination efficacy/rates/science as truly, this vaccine and others speaks for itself.
What I can't stand though are those who would make a selfish decision and then present it to the rest of society as if they're trying to save us all from the tyranny of the state. You may fool yourselves but not the rest of us. If you don't want to take the vaccine for whatever reason, fine (not really, but fine), but stop trying to flip the narrative when the rest of society points rightly to you all as holding us back from the normal that you claim you are fighting for. Man up, woman up, and just loudly declare you don't want the vaccine for whatever reason it is, but don't insult the rest of us by saying it's for our own good that you're doing so.
Now, just because I've seen it mentioned repeatedly, I'll be clear, the above mentioned group does NOT include those who truly cannot take the vaccine. This has been implied throughout, but obviously, if you've started telling yourself a certain narrative, you'll see whatever you want to. And honestly, if you truly cared for those unable to take the vaccine and how their freedoms may be impacted, then get the bloody vaccine! The best way to actually protect not just their "freedoms" but perhaps their very lives would be ensuring that enough people are vaccinated. So don't try and paint the rest of us as the ones infringing on "rights and freedoms," again, you may fool yourselves, but we're not buying it.
