I think with Sven Baertschi, people were really excited for him, but I don't think anyone viewed Klimchuk, Poirer and Gilles as having anywhere close to the potential to Pelletier, Zary, Valimaki or Coronato

Not sure about Coronato yet but Gillies was a starting goalie for the US team and Poirrier was just as good as Pelletier and Zary. Good but no blue chip prospect. I expect them to be Dube type player in the NHL. They can be better or worse but that would be a surprise or disappointment.
