More accurately, that should be, "We can't trade
all of Monahan, Bennett, Tkachuk, or Valimaki
in a deal for one player, it would be a crippling hit to our organization."
We saw how crippling to the team it was when a single one of the players turned into a pumpkin. We ruminate over the fact that Sam Bennett never turned into the player he was supposed to be. Imagine removing all of them and having none of them turn into the players they did? How would this team look right now? How would the organization have developed?
Also, Gillies wasn't a first rounder, so another swing and a miss.
