Watched it last night with my wife.
That is one hard, heavy film.
There are moments that really give you insight and clarity into the personality of Bourdain and moments where you really start to dislike him, but then come completely around and begin to understand him.
It was stellar. We thoroughly enjoyed it, but it wasnt a lot of fun.
I was really disappointed at the 'Kid Gloves' they used on the portrayal of Asia Argento.
But to really sum it up, I loved that everyone was credited in the film by their Profession 'slash' "Friend."
I mean...that says it all. Crew, Chefs, Strangers, whatever....eventually they all became Tony's Friend.
Thats just the guy he was.
