Have you ever worn dresspants in your life, there is a reason you go to a tailor for hemming, dropping the pants if they have been hemmed incorrectly can easily ruin the pants for someone who might actually own say multiple pairs of dress pants and cares about personal appearance. No offense but she likely bought her knitting guide off Ebay while watching reruns of 3's company with her Cabbage Patch dolls to keep her company. The lady in question either has no life or the life she lives is very dreary.
