If the rumours are true, Tkachuk's story is reminding me a little bit of Phaneuf's. Both had a great first three seasons, became instant fan favorites, thought of as a future captain, etc. By the end of their 5th seasons both of their names pop up in some rumours of internal conflict and are gone or likely will be gone.
Of course Tkachuk is the better player and will likely have the better career. I just hope the Flames don't mess up the return this time. Gotta get it right.
