The issue I see with these trade proposals is that they are from Flames fan perspectives where you're trying to determine if the value is correct while ignoring what Buffalo would actually want. We're talking about their franchise player who is a top 10-20 player in the league and is only 24.
If you're selling your car you want cash or at worst an equal value car. You don't want 4 motorcycles.
The Sabres would be better off dealing with a team and getting a one for one top prospect back then getting Monahan and couple average extra pieces.
