I have been impressed so far with how well Kylington has seemingly handled it. I’m pretty sure one of the reasons he dropped so much in the draft was poor interviews in which he came off as cocky. Granted who knows how he has been behind the scenes or in the locker room.
Another comparable in terms of losing an asset due to lack of opportunity is Kulak. Many had similar things to say about kulak when he was with the team… that he just was not good enough at ether end. And he has established himself as a regular NHLer after being given the opportunity.
