Part of me thinks limiting Kylington last year was for expansion purposes. To keep Seattle's eyes off of him.
Because in out limited viewings of him last year it was evident he took some steps forward in development.
That being said, I'm not sure I see Kylington in a Sutter system all that much. And I reluctantly believe he's going to be traded at some point before puck drop of game 1.
I like Kylington a bunch but also accept there's likely no room for him on the Flames.
