There are other NHL players who were offensively minded who didn't bother with working on improving at all, and became essentially specialists. Kylington took the high road, and it's starting to look like that was the wrong call.

OK but Kylington also hasn't shown much offensive production at the pro level.
He's an offensive minded dman without much offense and gaps on D.
Tough to play a guy like that.
