Burns struggled. Karlsson got injured and pouted. Hertl and Meier got worse. Kane was the most consistent part of their team. Everything on the ice shows he was an ideal teammate. He's a good player when he wants to be.

Which is a good counter for Kane in that he didn't bet on his own games or depending on which way he bet if he did at all.
I just think it would be hard for a single player to throw an NHL game as far as wins or losses go but there's also side bets like over/under and point spread.
Probably be easier for a goalie or a referee/linesman to throw a game vs a forward or defenseman.
