The frustrating part for me is that inbetween viewings, I think that he has gotten better on the weak aspects of his game. The Flames make it pretty unclear where the reward line is in term of playing time, and I worry that would simply be disheartening.
There are other NHL players who were offensively minded who didn't bother with working on improving at all, and became essentially specialists. Kylington took the high road, and it's starting to look like that was the wrong call.
